Located in Buckinghamshire, Hughenden Manor was owned by the Disraeli’s during the 1800’s, they had the house remodelled by architect Edward Buckton Lamb, changing the classic Georgian features to create a much more gothic appearance. It was at Hughenden that intelligence organised and plotted German bombings during the Second World War, after which it was then donated to the National Trust.
