Located in Berkshire with splendid views across the River Thames, Cliveden was the glittering hub of society as the home of Waldorf and Nancy Astor in the early part of the 20th century. This grand house has been visited by every monarch since George l. The house was designed by Sir Charles Barry in 1851 and was to replace a house that had stood there previously as it had been destroyed by a fire.
